We're looking for a SRE to ensure our core infrastructure maintains exceptional reliability while delivering best-in-className observability solutions to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure on AWS with a focus on achieving 99.99% uptime for core services.
• Lead architecture decisions and implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across our cloud environments [AWS, GCP, Azure].
• Develop and enhance automation systems using Python to streamline deployment, scaling, and operational workflows including CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes.
• Establish and enhance disaster recovery procedures, including regular testing and documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response when critical issues arise.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Continuously optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and reliability targets.
• Design and implement observability solutions that provide deep insights into our customers' systems.
• Create automated alerting systems with meaningful thresholds and minimal noise.
• Build dashboards and visualization tools that help customers understand their system health.
• Partner with customer success to understand and implement observability requirements.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS and networking.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code principles.
• Advanced programming skills in any programming language with a focus on automation and tooling.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing systems.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Background in performance tuning and optimization.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
